Rozan is a national non-government and not-for-profit organization, working on mental health, gender, and violence against women and children since 1998. We are inviting applications from excellence-driven, self-motivated, and committed candidates for the position of Technical Consultant to support the finalization of a National Strategy on Male Involvement to Address Gender-Based Violence (GBV).

Name of the Consultancy: Technical Expert (consultant) National Male Involvement Strategy.

Scope and Purpose of the Consultancy:

Rozan in collaboration with MoHR and UNFPA has drafted a national male involvement strategy in 2024. The strategy will be reviewed and finalized in 2025. The technical expert will be hired to provide technical support to the team in conducting reviews and finalizing the strategy.

Timeline of the Consultancy:

• The Technical expert will be hired for 30 days that is spread over 3 months duration March to May 2025.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Advanced degree in Social Sciences.
• At least 15 years of experience related to Strategy Development, Stakeholder Analysis/Engagement, and Development of Policy documents addressing GBV.
• Experience of working with Government Departments – Ministry of Human Rights addressing GBV.
• Understanding transformative approaches to masculinities in addressing GBV.
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to complete tasks within a set time frame
• Strong work ethics and commitment to principles of inclusiveness.
