Job Description:

 

The roles and responsibilities for this position includes but not limited to:

 

Planning:

 

  • Facilitation by Planning Coordinator to the programme implementation team in close coordination.

 

  • Guidance to Coordinator to ensure alignment of plans with required regulations.

 

  • Indicators are identified & incorporated in project design to precisely reflect the project performance.

 

Monitoring & Evaluation:

 

  • Establish criteria for each indicator and development processes and tools to measure actual performance.

 

  • Development and dissemination of reports reflecting outcomes as well as compliances, to facilitate top and senior management in decision making and implementation team to improve the performance.

 

  • Effective M&E quarterly plan.

 

Research:

 

  • Provide guidance in research design, data collection, analysis and reporting.

 

  • Sharing of analysis and conclusive reports internally and externally, as required.

Specific Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage planning, M&E and research teams.

 

  • Define roles and assign responsibilities to subordinates accordingly.

 

  • Supervise the quality of input incorporated in implementation plans.

 

  • Establish success indicators and guide the M&E team in developing evaluation tools.

 

  • Review and approve Quarterly M&E Plans.

 

  • Develop the overall framework for project M&E, e.g. annual project reviews, participatory impact assessments, process monitoring, operations monitoring and lesson-learned Workshops.

 

  • Design reports & formats to disseminate outcomes of M&E and Research activities.

 

  • Assist HoD PMER in strategic planning.

 

  • Provide reports on statistical and social analysis to support Resource mobilization.

 

 

 

  • Train, Coach & develop PMER teams based in HO as well as District offices.

 

 

Qualification & Experience

 

Master’s Degree in relevant field and 10 Years of Experience in monitoring & Evaluation of livelihood, enterprise development and social inclusions programmes
