Role Overview: The M&E Officer will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the project’s progress and impact. This includes designing M&E frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- M&E Framework Development:
- Design comprehensive M&E frameworks and logic models.
- Develop detailed M&E plans, including indicators, data collection methods, and timelines.
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Develop and implement data collection tools (e.g., surveys, questionnaires, focus groups).
- Utilize statistical software (e.g., SPSS, STATA) for data analysis.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis to assess project outcomes.
- Field Monitoring:
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor project implementation.
- Collect real-time data and provide feedback for immediate improvements.
- Reporting:
- Prepare detailed M&E reports, including data visualizations and infographics.
- Present findings to stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations.
- Capacity Building:
- Train project staff and partners on M&E tools and methodologies.
- Ensure continuous learning and improvement in M&E practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in M&E, preferably in education or development projects.
- Proficiency in data analysis software.
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
