Job Title:  Monitoring & Data Associate

Duty Station:   Head Office, Islamabad

Reporting to:   Program Manager

The Akhter Hameed Khan Foundation (AHK-F) is looking for a motivated individual to join its team as a Monitoring & Data Associate. This role will involve supporting data collection, analysis, and reporting to help guide decision-making and improve the effectiveness of programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis and monitoring, and a passion for contributing to meaningful development work

 

1. Data Validation, Analysis and Research (Surveys and Field)

  • Identify strengths and weaknesses in existing data collection and Software and propose solutions.
  • Programmatic data review and analysis for management decisions
  • Update the team with latest software's and method of data acquisition and analysis.
  • Lead the mentoring and project teams and supervision of data collection i.e. Primary monitoring (Phone calls and field updates)
  • Preliminary analysis (ensuring data quality) - according to the organization’s guidelines
  • Daily status update to Program/Project teams/management- maintenance of tracking sheet
  • Dataset version control including maintaining updated index of all the datasets
  • Data processing reports - comprehensive record of all changes/cleaning e.g. clear record of replacement/incomplete /rejected interviews etc. and status of dataset and shared regularly with management.
  • Participate in design, analysis and write up of research studies.
  • Designing and finalizing of research questionnaire for program/project.
  • Provide trainings on Survey CTO and other data tools to field team
  • Develop Training materials and get ready with implementation team
  • Monthly/Quarterly program/project progress/training report

 

2. Monitoring & Review

  • Development of monitoring tools and mechanisms to assess projects
  • Monitoring checklists
  • Input, output, process, and outcome level monitoring framework for interventions
  • Compliance with donor and project objectives, KPIs and indicators
  • Feedback to teams and Supervisors Review of feedback changes and incorporation
  • Weekly/monthly M&E visits
  • Reporting to teams and management through power points and easy to understands formats
  • Monitoring dashboards

 

3. Training

  • Provide trainings on Survey CTO and other data tools
  • Develop Training materials
  • Training report
  • Pretest & Posttest assessment of trainees

 

4. Leadership & Capacity Building

  • Capacity building of colleagues and teams in technical subjects and soft skills
  • Professional representation of AHK Foundation at all forums
  • Time Management
  • Adding value to the data and organizational systems

 

5. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration on CLMIS data along with Research Analyst and complete the analysis with paper write up on cost for FP channels with Senior Researcher.
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor/Management.

 

Education & Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in public health, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  •  3-4 years of experience in data analysis, monitoring, and evaluation.
  •  Experience with data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Excel or Power BI.
  • Strong communication, report writing, and time management skills.
