A global network is looking for a resource mobilization specilaist for  Pakistan based hub managed by a nation organization. The candidate MUST be qualified, experienced and compitent as per the following cretria, who can deliver the tasks mentioned below. 


Relevant Experience:

  • Proven experience in resource mobilization and fundraising, ideally within humanitarian or development sectors, Trusts and Foundations or Corporate Fundraising experience.
  • Knowledge of the Pakistan humanitarian and development landscape, with an understanding of key funding agencies.
  • Strong networking and relationship management skills, with experience collaborating across teams and co-creating solutions.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with expertise in proposal development and budget creation.
  • Familiarity with international donor requirements, including FCDO, USAID, and SIDA.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, supporting cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for document creation, data analysis, presentations, and communication.

Job Description:

  • Hub Overview & Value Proposition
    • Develop a Mission Statement: Brief overview of the Hub’s mission within the Start Network framework.
    • Identify Unique Selling Points: Outline the unique strengths and impact areas of the Hub,
    • Identify the Programmatic plans for the next 2 years of the hubs (2-page summary)
    • Impact Stories: Include one or two impact case studies or stories to demonstrate the tangible outcomes of the Hub's work.
  • Donor & Partner Mapping
    • Stakeholder Analysis: Identification of key local, regional, donors, including government agencies, international NGOs, private sector, and philanthropic foundations
    • Donor Profiles: Brief descriptions of potential donors, including funding priorities
    • Identify top 10 targets for each hub
    • Have a minimum of 5 meetings with donors
  • Resource Mobilization Objectives
    • Key Goals: Outline the specific annual fundraising targets (realistic figures with no SN funding involved)
    • Short- and Long-Term Objectives: Identify quick wins for immediate funding needs and longer-term partnerships for sustainable funding.
    • Hold a total of 5 meeting with donors pitching hubs visions
    • Develop and co-create a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy with the Pakistan Hub, aligned with priority sectors and funding needs.
  • Donor Engagement and Cultivation
    • Collaborate with the Resource Mobilization Manager to build and maintain relationships with key donors, customizing pitches and proposals to meet specific donor priorities.
    • Actively engage in donor meetings, providing strategic insights and aligning funding opportunities with the Pakistan Hub’s mission and goals.
  • Proposal and Grant Development
    • Draft, co-create, and submit high-quality proposals, budgets, and concept notes that align with donor requirements.
    • Work with the Pakistan Hub and the Resource Mobilization Manager to compile necessary documents and ensure timely submission of grant applications.
  • Capacity Building and Support
    • Provide training, support, and co-create tools with Hub members to enhance skills in fundraising, proposal development, and donor engagement.
    • Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-collaborative learning across Start Network Hubs, fostering a stronger collective approach to resource mobilization.
  • Monitoring and Reporting
    • Track and monitor progress on funding applications and ongoing donor commitments, reporting outcomes to the Resource Mobilization Manager.
    • Maintain a centralized donor database, staying informed of donor trends to refine future strategies.
