Job Description:

CARE International in Pakistan (CIP) seeks a Program Intern. This internship provides undergraduate or graduate individuals an opportunity to gain practical work experience in the humanitarian and development sector. The role focuses on supporting administrative and technical project implementation needs, offering a learning platform for young professionals to build their capacity and enhance their knowledge about humanitarian and development work.

This internship is ideal for individuals who demonstrate strong research, organizational, and interpersonal skills and wish to grow professionally in the sector.

Research and Documentation  (30% of Time)

Assist the team in research, writing, and editing documents.

Proofread reports, concept notes, and other program documentation.

Develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Event and Meeting Coordination (30% of Time)

Assist in organizing events, meetings, and workshops with project partners and beneficiaries.

Take notes and compile meeting minutes.

Support planning and logistical coordination of program events.

Project Support (20% of Time)

Assist the supervisor in undertaking project interventions.

Provide administrative and clerical support, including typing, printing, filing, and record-keeping.

Datbase and documentation (15% of Time)

Document and database of the project to be maintained in hard and soft

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AS ASSIGNED (5% of Time)

Education/Training

Required

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social sciences or a related field.

Or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Desired

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Urdu.

Understanding of event, workshop, and meeting management.

Ability to coordinate with stakeholders, including implementing partners, government officials, and beneficiaries.
