Overview

The Outreach and Quality Assurance Assistant will support the Sindh Legal Advisory Call Center (SLACC) in strengthening outreach, community engagement, quality assurance, data verification, and communication activities. The role will assist in organizing awareness and outreach initiatives to increase awareness of SLACC’s legal assistance services, while ensuring that outreach data, documentation, and reporting are accurate and complete. The position will also support the development of communication and visibility materials, coordinate with communities, partners, and internal teams, and contribute to documenting outreach activities and beneficiary feedback. The role will play an important part in maintaining quality standards, strengthening community engagement, and improving the visibility and effectiveness of SLACC’s legal aid services.

Position summary

The Outreach and Quality Assurance Assistant supports outreach activities, community engagement, quality assurance, data verification, content creation, and coordination to enhance project visibility,ensure compliance, and improve communication materials for the Communications & Outreach department.

Key responsibilities

  1. Outreach & Community Engagement
    1. Supports the planning and execution of outreach activities in coordination with the Communications and Program teams
    2. Assists in organizing awareness sessions, community events, and advocacy campaigns to enhance project visibility and engagement
    3. Builds and maintains relationships with local communities, partner organizations, and relevant stakeholders to ensure strong outreach networks
    4. Prepares event briefs, maintains attendance sheets, and assists in post-event reporting and documentation
    5. Gathers success stories, testimonials, and feedback from beneficiaries for communication and reporting purposes
    6. Coordinates with the Communications team for timely coverage and documentation of field activities (photos, videos, or short interviews)
  2. Quality Assurance & Data Verification
    1. Assists in monitoring project activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with organizational policies
    2. Conducts regular data checks and verifies outreach reports shared by field teams
    3. Reviews outreach documentation (attendance, feedback forms, reports) for completeness and accuracy
    4. Maintains updated records and databases for all outreach activities, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
    5. Provides feedback to the team on identified gaps or inconsistencies and ensures timely rectification
  3. Communication & Documentation Support
    1. Converts raw data and field information into structured content for reports, summaries, and visibility material
    2. Supports in drafting outreach-related content for digital and print media in coordination with the Communications team
    3. Prepares concise and accurate documentation for internal and external sharing
    4. Translates content or communication material when required
    5. Supports the development and distribution of outreach materials such as brochures, newsletters, and social media posts
  4. Coordination & Liaison
    1. Coordinates with program, admin, and communication teams to ensure timely planning and delivery of outreach activities
    2. Liaises with local authorities, partner organizations, and communities for effective outreach execution
    3. Ensures timely sharing of outreach data, reports, and visibility material with the Communications department
    4. Provides logistical and operational assistance for outreach events and training sessions
  5. Compliance, Confidentiality & Professional Conduct
    1. Ensures all outreach and quality assurance processes are conducted in compliance with LAS policies and donor requirements
    2. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information gathered during field and program work
    3. Adheres to organizational code of conduct, maintains punctuality, and demonstrates professionalism at all times
    4. Supports the team in continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements for better outreach impact and reporting quality

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Media, or a relevant field

Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in outreach, community engagement, or quality assurance (fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also apply)

Skills: Strong writing, reporting, and documentation skills in English and Urdu; good interpersonal and coordination skills; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms

Knowledge: Knowledge of quality assurance processes, data management, and communications strategies
